More Testimonials about Chuck

I have known Mr. Mancuso most of my life. Our association and my admiration for him date back to our adolescence in and around the Butler-Mitchell Boys Club and on the playing fields of the West Side of Buffalo. My admiration grew when Chuck competed and starred on the basketball court for Buffalo State College. It came to full fruition, however, in adulthood, when we both chose career paths and I came to know many of the students who had the benefit of knowing Chuck Mancuso as a scholar, a student, and a dedicated teacher of music and its appreciation. His dedication and enthusiasm is legend around the campus and the West Side where young people still benefit from Chuck’s willingness and ability to give back to the neighborhood.

Familiar Faces, Favorite Spaces
Image At the bars along Elmwood Avenue, last call takes place just before 4 in the morning. But just a block away, the neon glows 'round the clock. You can find it in almost every room of Charles Mancuso's Ashland Avenue home.
